The Central Coast of
New South Wales Australia is only an
hour and a half from Sydney or Newcastle
but a world apart. Originally the area
was renowned for it’s shipbuilding and
forestry, it was a favourite camping
ground for the aborigines whose carvings
are still found in excellent condition
throughout the district.
Nowadays some of the best beaches in
Australia can be found here nestled in
amongst national parks or just off the
highway; the life-saving teams patrol
most beaches.Sports are well catered for
in the various golf, cricket, football,
soccer, sailing and surf clubs and also
including horse racing at Gosford, Wyong
and Tuggerah racecourses. |
