One of the gems of the coast is Avoca, beautifully surrounded by a fine beach on the one hand, and the waters of a beautiful lake on the other and has a wide popularity as a holiday resort. Access is by road from Gosford through Kincumber, amid beautiful scenery all the way. Other roads link up with Killcare Beach, Box Head, and other points on the south, Terrigal, Wamberal, and The Entrance on the north.
The natural attractions are great; Avoca is a secluded spot, ideal for the discriminating holiday maker, as its beauties are unspoiled. The Pacific rollers break on a beach two kilometres long, with a great width of pure white sand. |
